How You Can Help:

  1. Check the CaliforniaExodus.org website for updates regularly.

  2. Become informed about the EDUCATION CRISIS in the public schools and the impact it has on Christian children and families. Begin by ordering and reading the book
    Let My Children Go written by E. Ray Moore, Jr., Th.M.

  3. Another excellent book is The Harsh Truth about Public Schools by Dr. Bruce Shortt

  4. Plan for the proper Christian education of those school-aged children and grandchildren that God has placed in your charge. The Bible clearly states that parents have the responsibility before God for the education of their children.

    4. Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!
    5. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
    6. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.
    7. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.

  5. Become familiar with the resources available for parents and families who either home school or have their children enrolled in church schools. The section titled Resource Links on this website can assist you in your research.

  6. Share your concerns with your pastor, family members and close friends. Encourage them to become informed by giving them information about this website, by offering a copy of
    Let My Children Go to read or by loaning them a DVD to view. Discuss with them the urgent need for Christians to take their children out of government schools.

  7. Arrange to show the DVD Let My Children Goto adult fellowship groups, Sunday school groups and Bible studies, particularly those serving parents of school-aged children in your church. (Watching a DVD together can facilitate understanding and discussion during such a meeting.) Another excellent 2-disc DVD set is

  8. Arrange meetings with California churches, Christian educators, and Christian business and professional leaders to show a DVD, and to discuss the education crisis and how Christians should respond.

  9. Become a distributor of materials that encourage Christian parents and family to remove their children form the public school system.

  10. Start a Christian Education Renewal Team ( CERT chapter ) to encourage and assist Christian families to leave Pharaoh's school system (i.e., government schools) for the “Promised Land” of Christian home schooling or Christian schools.

  11. Call local Christian radio talk shows and mention the website by name 2-3 times while on the air. Please, refer to the list of talking points before getting on the radio.)

  12. Place a "CaliforniaExodus.org Ad" in your church newsletter or ask that it be included in your church bulletin.   13. Pray for our children and families and for the responsibility that churches have before God for the education of God's children. Jesus says:
