EXODUS MANDATE VISION STATEMENT

EXODUS MANDATE is a Christian ministry to encourage and assist Christian families to leave Pharaoh's school system (i.e. government schools) for the Promised Land of Christian schools or home schooling. CALIFORNIA EXODUS is an affiliate of EXODUS MANDATE. It is our prayer and hope that a fresh obedience by Christian families in educating their children according to Biblical mandates will prove to be a key for the revival of our families, our churches and our nation.

CERTs - Christian Education Renewal Teams

• Overview - A CERT is the basic grassroots team to implement the vision of EXODUS MANDATE / CALIFORNIA EXODUS. The primary mission is to educate and assist families, churches, pastors and ministry leaders on the community level in carring out the vision of CALIFORNIA EXODUS / EXODUS MANDATE.
  
  
• Organization - Anyone can volunteer to organize a CERT in his or her community. Ideally, the CERT should have diversified members including a pastor and an educator and should remain an interdenominational, orthodox, evangelical Christian group. Once the group is operational, the CERT organizer should contact CALIFORNIA EXODUS / EXODUS MANDATE with the plan of action, and names and addresses of the members. (Do this by selecting the E-mail link for your county from the directory on the left side of this screen.) After a brief assessment CALIFORNIA EXODUS / EXODUS MANDATE will then validate the group as part of the Exodus Mandate Project.
  
  
• Function - A CERT is an action team, not a committee or study group, with prayer as its foremost activity. It can begin with as few as 2-3 Christians who have a vision for Christian education and who will meet regularly for prayer and action. A group of 3-7 members should become involved as a team in their community, working with families, churches and pastors. Someone in the CERT
  should be designated as a prayer coordinator.
  
  
• Basic Message - A CERT:
  
  • provides basic information about the harm to children caused by government-sponsored education at the K-12 level
  
  
  
  • presents the biblical and theological mandate of Christian education and various Christian education options
  
  
  
  • promotes the exodus of Christian children from public schools
  
  
  
  • provides references to appropriate Christian school or home school associations
  
  
  
  • prays for churches and families in the community
  
  
  
• An additional CERT mission will be to brief, inform, train, and assist the general at-large Christian community to carry out the vision of CALIFORNIA EXODUS / EXODUS MANDATE. One way to do this is to show the DVD "Let My Children Go" in churches, Sunday school classes, bible study groups, local Christian cable TV or local access channel. Also distribute the book "Let My Children Go" to the same group.
